Salah vs Kane

Image
Harry Kane credited to Nike.com Kane at a Glance Harry Kane Age-24 years old Position-Forward Current Team-Tottenham Spurs Past Teams-Leicester City, Millwall, Norwich City Born in Walthamstow five minutes from White Hart Lane, Kane is a local boy who came threw the ranks although few could have predicted he would become such a class act. "He did possess a strong self- belief in where he wanted to go" according to Les Ferdinand Under-21 coach at the time. Tim Sherwood placed his trust in the club's youth set up back in 2013 with Kane even bagging a brace against Chelsea back in the 2014/2015 season, eventually going down 5-3. From possible squad player to leading the line  .........2014/2015 season he broke out with 31 goals in all competitions this was a stark contrast to a boy who played with less fancied Millwall early in his career where he netted only 9 goals in 27 appearances followed by occupying the bench with now Leicester City first choice fowa...

Manchester United second best club in Manchester

The emergence of the "noisy neighbors" Flashback to the 2012/2013 season commentators where quick to play down a regime change with this looking like a ever increasing reality due to City's complete dominance of the league in the 2017/2018 season. If history is anything to go by, this time next season we would be looking at a new champion as last season Chelsea similarly steam rolled it's opposition on its way to the title. Pep though, boast a far deadlier arsenal of weapons. . . . and I don't mean Arsenal the football club. (8-2) *cough*. With players like Sterling having the best season of his career, and world class beaters like Silva and KDB pulling the strings, supplemented by lightening quick German Winger Sane, and Portugal 's Bernardo Silva, City has what it takes to dominate for some time. Pep has infused his imprint on this side as seen by the way they play ball; Players always eager to run into space mixed with intricate one two passes.      ...

Conte sacking Inevitable

Roman a hard task master? Not even Winning the league saves you from Roman Abramovich. I’ve literally lost count the number of managerial changes at Stamford Bridge over the last couple of years. Since the inception of the Abramovich era we realized the high bar the owner set for the club and rightly so. Roman has pumped millions into the club and must see a return on investment in the form of trophies. This often ruthless stance on manager’s tenure at the club has been well documented and shirked upon. Most pundits agree that sacking the mangers doesn’t fix the boat, although some may lament it can stabilize it as in the case of Andre Villas-Boas, who had a horrid time in the Chelsea dugout while the subsequent one Di Matteo helped bring the European silverware to the Bridge, even though he found himself on the wrong end of Roman’s rope. Horrid time at Chelsea Conte’s Chelsea is currently fifth and if they can’t get pass Leicester City this weekend it will probably...

The Rise of South Korean Son, Please don't Go

Image
Player Profile Heung-Min-Son  Born/Age:8th July,1992 (25)  Nationality:South Korean Position:Left Wing other positions Right Wing and Forward Market Value as at 2018: 31.5 Million  Son Strikes yet again Performance data shows Son's break out season was at Hamburger SV in the German Budesliga during the 2012/2013 season where he was on target 12 times, assisting twice. Now fast forward to EPL 2017/2018  with Spurs, Son already has 12 goals and 4 assists with about eight more games to go. Nobody in their right mind will bet against him increasing his tally, not even against him reaching the 15 goal bracket and joining company with some of the premier leagues most reliable forwards.  With two double strikes in Spurs last two matches  his rise provides Spurs with another shinning star to admire besides Harry Kane ; to bad its not the winners medal come May! With Champions League and a top 4 spot still to play for the Spurs mass...

Inside the Mind of a Football Fanatic

"English Premier league and all out war every weekend"-Graeme.R.Conyette  This just about sums up my thoughts on the most fascinating league in the world. Now on to the 26th season since its' inception, the English league(EPL) has grown in reach and status as players here earn way more than their Spanish and Italian counterparts.  My first interaction with football was like any other child's on the street, with either stones or our shoes as goal post. It quickly developed, especially when I witness the Yorke-Cole combination of the class of 99' Manchester United team, which included the likes of Beckham, Neville and Giggs.{ ps.I am by no way a supporter of Manchester United, I bleed blue ;-) } To put it simply, I'm just your average guy who supports Chelsea FC but pays close attention to everything EPL. From Sir Alex and his almost supernatural man management at Manchester United to Andre Villas Boas's inevitable demise while in the hotseat ...
