Player profile Liverpool's Oxlade Chamberlain

Image
Alex Oxlade Chamerlain key statistics  Born : 15/08/93 (24 years) Current club : Liverpool FC Previous club : Arsenal FC Position: Midfielder (Center, Right, Left) Nationality : England Another one who received mentorship from the Southhampton academy, Alex Oxlade Chamerlain. Southhampton is credited for producing talents such as Victor Wanyama, Ward-Prowse, and Clyne. Eventually in 2011 Oxlade made the big switch to Arsenal FC where he stayed and further developed for the next six years winning three F.A cups. Presently he plays for Liverpool FC where he has finally found he place. Life at Anfield started just as it had at Arsenal, slow and unassured. Eventually, after playing an energetic direct style of football, showing his ability to drive the midfield forward with great effect, he is now described as a " Big Gun". Next season's opposition will be fully aware and for this reason he has to raise his game even higher! Imagine his signing was met ...

Chelsea owner right to be mad

Image
Roman a hard task master? I’ve literally lost count the number of managerial changes at Stamford Bridge over the last couple of years. Since the inception of the Abramovich era we saw the high bar the owner set for the club and rightly so. Roman has pumped millions into the club with an expectant return on investment, in the form of trophies. This often ruthless stance on manager’s tenure at the club has been well documented and shirked upon as most pundits agree that sacking the mangers doesn’t fix the boat. Some may lament it can stabilize it as in the case of Andre Villas-Boas who had a horrid time in the Chelsea dugout, while the subsequent one Di Matteo helped bring the European silverware to the Bridge even though he found himself on the wrong end of Roman’s rope. Key players look not to be up to scratch, Courtois can be held accountable for all three goals against Barcalona as well as the fading Cahill who has left a gaping whole not ready to be filled...

Lukaku profit misused by Everton!!! What is wrong?

Image
Faulty transfer policy Davy Klaassen (23.6 million pounds) Has not featured much for much discussion and that is how we start seeing the cracks in Everton's transfer policy. When he was signed much hype surrounded his arrival from the Dutch league. Fast-forward eight months and he hasn't made a note. With Glyfi injured he may yet get his chance to shine, but such is the life of a premier league player. Harsh critique for a first season coming from a technical league that is much slower and not as physical, nonetheless professionals nowadays, much is expected especially when you are spending that kind of cash. Michael Keane (25 million pounds) Not an assured start since his move but the solution looks to be partnering him with a more senior teammate. Dropped by coach for repeated errors at the back this season. Secondly most thought this was a secure buy from Burnley back in 2017 and now one wonders if they have to resume the hunt for the "new John Stones...

Player Highlight- Wilfed Zaha

Born : Nov 10, 1992 (25yrs) Current Club: Crystal Palace Previous Clubs : Manchester United Position- Right Wing International-Ivory Coast (played for England at youth level). 2014/2015 seven assist. Arguably his best season was last year following his move from United. This gave him the freedom to come out the limelight and get to working on producing the quality displays we know he is capable of. It is clear that he is a big game player , with skill in abundance who scores outstanding goals against lower and upper table clubs. Last season together he and Yannick Bolasie caused oppositions nightmares and it wasn't easy traveling to Selhurst Park. I remember watching a interview with him when he returned from his failed stint with Manchester United. He himself believes he is a confidence players so just knowing he is a fan favorite and they expect him to do well pushes him to great heights. I love to see this boy with the ball at his feet. Not many compare to...

How did the promoted sides fair?

Image
Newcastle  10th place They beat Brighton by one point to secure automatic promotion into the 2017/2018 season. It must be said that things are usually rough for promoted sides. After some miserable form followed by a new managerial appointment they finally seem stable. This side is strong, not because of individual players, but the team contribution. If you are not giving 110 % Rafael Benitez doesn't play yo,u and with season players like Ritchie , Shelvey and Dummet, they have a solid spine in place to challenge for a top 8 spot next season baring a few addditions. At 10th position they look the most sure to secure top fight access next season from the bunch. Ayoze has caught form of late and a pattern of him firing closer to the end of the season is developing. One wonders how Bournemouth let Matt Ritchie go. He is capable of picking a pass and delivering a screamer or two every season, this one has been just the same with him already having seven assist with fou...

Who has the best stadium atmosphere in Top 5 of PL ?

Image
Manchester City  Nickname : Ethiad 50, 097 * Best looking stadium The atmosphere here is on the same trajectory as their title march. Fueling the frenzy is an array of talented players funded by Arab owners such as John Stones , Laporte, and the long-term injured Mendy, who combined are close to 150 million for unproven PL defenders. Two way glass for unrivaled viewing of the teams in the tunnel. They certainly provide for the high rollers. City have been synonymous with riches and big transfer budgets. This invariably sparks a fan frenzy as they are continually linked with world-beaters such as  Messi , Real's CR7 and Lewandoski of Bayern Munich. Everything that happens on and off the pitch contribute to the pulsating vibe, especially in big games. It must be noted however that when up against low lying opposition the fan support falls short everytime. One wonders if the Ethiad wasn't flowing with cash how different things may have been. . . . . . . Hmmm. Ov...

Where Do Arsenal Go From Here

Image
Average players expected to do a world class job Callum Chambers Early on he was an exciting youth prospect, quickly rising from Southampton U18 to Arsenal 1st team from 2012-2014. As far as trust is concern. Chambers receives little and was not included in the squad until matchday 17 when he was on the bench against West Ham in that 0-0 stalemate away from PL Nacho Monreal Not a decorated youth player and started off with Osuasuna before eventually securing a transfer from Malaga Fc to Arsenal back in 2013. Fast-foward to 2018 while he has gotten better one wonders if its just a matter of the options available to Arsene are not as strong as years gone by when he had Gallas, Cole and Thuram to summon. Coupled by loses to Spurs the new kings of London and a blitz from the Swans which he played the full 90 minutes and the fact he is 32 suggest he will never it the same heights as some of his compatriots like Pique. Alex Iwobi Came threw the youth ...
